Emergency Information
If your pet is experiencing a medical emergency, take him or her to an animal hospital such as Animal Urgent Care (open 24/7, 365 days a year.) It is advisable to call the animal hospital before you arrive so that they may be best prepared to care for your pet.
If you are a current PULSE patient and you have a non-emergent question or issue, please call us at your earliest convenience at (720) 705-7539. Leave a brief message, and we will do our best to contact you as soon as possible, even after hours.
We know it can be scary to hear that your pet may have a heart condition.
At PULSE, you’ll find exceptional cardiac care delivered by knowledgeable, friendly professionals who are committed to helping you understand your pet’s health needs and all related tests, procedures, and medications. We also specialize in coordinating care plans with your referring vet.
Please email us with questions or have your veterinarian request a mobile appointment.
A thorough medical history and physical examination can provide great insight into cardiovascular disease and enable us to design a personalized and effective diagnostic and treatment plan.
Echocardiography is the most efficient and accurate way to test for heart disease, enabling us to quickly reach a diagnosis and start a treatment plan.
When a heart murmur or arrhythmia is detected on a pre-anesthetic examination, a cardiology workup can be essential to determining anesthetic risk and an appropriate anesthetic plan.
Electrocardiography (ECG) is a method for detecting and diagnosing an irregular heart rhythm (arrhythmia). Additional testing, such as 24-hour Holter monitoring is sometimes also required to better assess the arrhythmia and optimize treatment.
Frequently, the first sign of heart disease occurs on an emergency basis. We will go out of our way to be available to make sure every patient receives the treatment they need, even if it is after hours. We also offer hospitalization at Animal Urgent Care.
